Make Your Own Wine Charms

Wine charm DIY

I LOVE to do crafts! Seeing something come together, having that pride of “hey I did that”, it’s a great feeling for me and therapeutic as well. So for my first craft I’m going to share a very simple craft, I love it because it’s so simple but also because it’s so practical! The worst feeling when drinking wine (especially with others) is putting your glass down and forgetting which one was yours. And then picking up a Cabernet when you were drinking a Merlot! lol Real life can be tricky. So the solutions is wine charms! Clip the colorful charms on your glass and your good to go; as long as your not drinking too much and forget what charm was yours. (It has happened to me a few times.)

Materials you will need:

  • Wire hoop earrings
  • Beads
  • Charms
  • Small jewelry pliers

Wine charms material

Step 1: Get one wire hoop, one charm, and 2 to up to 8 beads.

Step 1

Step 2: String on half of your beads on the wire hoop (some of them are tricky to get on because of the coating just work it through or try another). Then add  the charm, and the other half of the beads.

Step 3: Use your small pliers to trim a bit of the wire off if the hoop is too big. And then bend the straight end of the wire up to make a hook. The hookStep 4: Your charm is complete! Just hook the circle end to the kinked end around the base of your glass! Repeat with the other charms to make a set of them.

A set of charms

I hope you enjoyed today’s craft and they come in handy. The good thing about these is you can customize them how ever you want. The options are completely endless, they make great gifts as well for family, friends, or teachers.

Be sure to comment on this post about your experience or even share a picture of your charm with me!

Thanks for reading.
